Eli Simonson

Eli Simonson

Eli Simonson is a research associate interested in using GIS and Remote Sensing to enhance natural resource conservation and management. His current research focuses on the development of forest change vulnerability maps in support of REDD+ projects. Prior to joining Clark Labs, Eli worked as a remote sensing specialist at Tall Timbers Research Station where he provided geospatial services on various land management and conservation projects across the Southeastern US. Eli has experience working on interdisciplinary teams, automating geospatial workflows, and building tools for conservation practitioners. He holds a B.A. in Environmental Science and an M.S. in Geographic Information Science from Clark University.
