Clark’s Marketing and Communications Office has developed the guidelines below to help you decide whether your event should be included in the main campus calendar or only in your department calendar.

事件 to include in the main campus calendar

因为太阳城娱乐城的 main campus calendar appeals to broad, and often public, audiences, you should include events that are:

  • Showcasing the vibrancy and diversity of academic and campus life.
  • Sponsored by a Clark school, department, program, center, or group.
  • Open to the Clark community (students, faculty, staff, alumni, and/or parents and families).
  • Generally open to the public unless otherwise indicated/inferred.
  • Held on or near campus (events off campus should be accessible via the Clark shuttle).

Examples include:

  • Major University events (e.g., all-university Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement events, 家庭周末, 取向, 招生 Open House, 等.)
    • 注意: these all-university events are entered only once by Clark’s Marketing and Communications Office or the department involved, so no need for you to enter these events (we can show you how to include these events in your calendar if you wish)
  • Lectures, symposia, seminars, discussions, and panels
  • 会议
  • Readings/meet-the-author events
  • 表演
  • Exhibits and art openings
  • Film screenings/discussions
  • 人才招聘会往往会

事件 to include only in office, department, or other calendars

Some events may not appeal to a broad audience and thus would not be appropriate for the main campus calendar.

Examples include:

  • Department social events (e.g., welcome-back ice cream social)
  • Department meetings
  • Weekly drop-in hours
  • Ongoing department training sessions
  • Student club/organization meetings — instead, include in the 让日历
